Travel advice Cabo Verde Status 05. 05.2022<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you are planning a trip to Cabo Verde, please note the following information on entry: Fully vaccinated (triple vaccinated) may enter without further testing.\u00a0 Non-vaccinated persons need a rapid antigen test (not older than 48 hrs.) or a PCR test (not older than 72 hrs.). Irrespective of this, the transport regulations of the respective airlines must be observed.\u00a0 All current changes can also be found on our website under TRAVEL INFORMATION. In addition, a health check form must be completed in advance. You can find this at<\/span> https:\/\/travel.gov.cv\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

From January 1st<\/sup> 2019 the Government of the Republic of Cape Verde exempts citizens of the following countries from visa requirement for tourist visits up to 30 days: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

For nationals of ECOWAS (CEDEAO) member countries: Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Gambia, C\u00f4te d’Ivoire, Guinea Konakri, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Mali, Benin, Togo and South Africa.<\/p>\n

Every person entering the country needs a valid passport which is valid for at least 6 (six) months at the time of departure. Entry with an identity card or temporary identity card is not possible.<\/strong> Entry to the Republic of Cape Verde with identity card or temporary identity card is not possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All travellers with<\/strong> and without<\/strong> visa requirements are obliged to register on the internet platform www.ease.gov.cv<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> up to 5 (five) days prior to departure, providing information from the passport, travel period (entry and exit dates), flight number and place of accommodation. When registering at www.ease.gov.cv<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>, you must also pay the airport security fee. If necessary, check with your tour operator to see if they will register for you at www.ease.gov.cv<\/a><\/strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
