Dear travellers to the Republic of Cape Verde, in order to ensure a quick processing and issuance of visas, we kindly ask you to observe the following points:
Please present your visa application no later than 2 days before departure at the Honorary Consulate in Hamburg.
The following documents are required:
- Passport (the passport must be valid for at least 6 months after departure from Cape Verde)
- Biometric passport photo
- Copy of travel document or flight ticket
- Proof of payment of fees to the bank account of the Hamburg Consulate.
- Credit cards, bank cards or other payments are not accepted.

Individual multiple entries visa € 87,-
(Multiple entry for 90 days each, valid for 24 months)
Family simple visa € 57,-
for married persons with minor children (up to 18 years)
Family simple visa
for non-married parents with minor children (up to 18 years)

Multiple family visa € 110,-
(multiple entry for 90 days each, valid for 24 months) for married persons with minor children (up to 18 years)
Multiple family visa

Collective visa per person € 34,-
Valid as from 5 persons and only for joint entry and exit.
Entry must take place within 6 months (180 days) from issuance of the visa.
The stay in Cape Verde is possible for a maximum of 90 days from the date of entry.
Cruise passengers: No visa requirement for daily shore leave (entry by sea).
Visas are required for all foreigners staying more than 30 days. Please note that airlines are not obliged to transport passengers without a valid visa.

Alternatively, you can send your visa application together with the above documents by registered mail to the consulate (normal postal delivery to post box). In this case a stamped envelope must be enclosed for the reply – registered letter. Postage currently is € 3.75. Please frank only with stamps.
