Welcome to the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Cape Verde
Hamburg, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony.

Please note current travel warnings of the Federal Foreign Office

The spread of COVID-19 led to increased entry controls, health checks and entry bans in Cabo Verde. On the island of Santiago, the state of emergency will remain in force until 29 May 2020. For all other islands, the government has lifted the state of emergency and shops, hotels and restaurants are open again. Shipping traffic between the islands has resumed, with the exception of Santiago. Masks must be worn in closed rooms with several people and public transport. However, all borders are closed until further notice and commercial flights are suspended.

The consulate is closed to the public for the time being. You reach us by telephone or E-Mail during usual opening Hours and can make an appointment in urgent cases. We thank you for your understanding.
